A winner of the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through a lot of struggle and immense amount of patience. Jones was the only child in a family of five as well as grew up living in poverty. Her mother had been constantly changing her location and she spent some time living in the basement. Jones was among the top hurdlers when she first entered college. In 2002, at the NCAA Track & Field Championships, Jones won the 100-meter hurdles. Additionally, she was a part of the team who was second in the 100-meter relay. Jones won the NCAA Indoor Hurdles event in 2003 and the 2004. Jones began her track career in 2005 after she graduated from university. She was the winner of both her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track competitions during the same season.
Brandt moved to Auckland, New Zealand after moving from Cape Town South Africa in later the adolescent years. Her talent was recognized in Auckland by the local Director of casting Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia as her role on the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. The performance was well-loved among the public and producer Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. She was a part of the cult Netflix series Lucifer that had a six year run playing the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes declared Lucifer as the most watched show of 2021. Brandt can next be seen alongside Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the 6 episode limited Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. Brandt also appears alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult-oriented film which will premiere on Netflix July 20, 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress, born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2nd December 1981. She is a talented New Zealander actor. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand to Auckland in the year 1999. After several years being employed in the retail industry her promotion was to the post of IT manager consultant. Lesley has appeared in several commercial advertisements after a few modeling assignments. In 2008 she graduated from her majors and studied Meisner method of study. The first big acting role for Lesley was in the new Zealand TV series Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street, as a visitor supporting role. Then she was in the Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teenager hostage, and was later featured her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
